miscellaneous details.     Zorah typically wears all-black. It doesn't stain, it's impossible to mismatch (fashionable), and frankly; she just likes how it looks. Zorah carries herself with an air of undefilable confidence. Although she sometimes struggles with RBF, she is also known to maintain an eerie little smile when she's thinking... or plotting.  personality.     Zorah has a dynamic personality. Deep within her are the foundations still laid - albeit cracked - from her time in the temple. At her core, she's not a bad person. Behind the trauma, lies, and emotional baggage, the young and devoted child is still there. She's a broken woman, though you'd likely never get close enough to her to see it. Her exterior is hard and razor-sharp: a finely crafted armor to protect herself from the horrors she's witnessed as she's grown older. Instead, she presents an outgoing, sεxually liberated, hot-headed boss. Her M.O. is always control. She's always got herself in-line and it's very difficult to rock her boat.

extra one. Zorah, being a tiefling, often runs hot. She sometimes doesn't even sleep with a blanket on, and is known for wearing clothing that some might deem inappropriate for colder weather. She's capable of shrouding herself in fire, which is white-hot and the flames look similar to those from a butane torch.
extra two. The way that Amon is summoned from Zorah's tattoo involves him pulling himself up from her skin and slithering up around her neck. He is capable of "communicating" with Zorah, and she can see through his eyes. Most often, Zorah uses him to scout out locations or find a way through a closed door.
extra three. Although she isn't aware, Grandfather is Asmodeus. He offered her Amon, not only to help her, but also as a means to keep a better eye on her. Amon reports back to him with anything and everything. Asmodeus's tie to serpents is also why many of Zorah's adopted aesthetics harken back to snakes.
alrabeg's claws. Zorah is not proficient with any weapons, and to get around this, Grandfather informed her of a pair of artefact gauntlets. They are black, made from a mysterious metal, with wickedly sharp knuckles and claws. They look almost thorny, and are very, very sharp. These gauntlets given Zorah the ability to fight "unarmed," and have been tainted by Grandfather's hellish energy to empower her invocations even further.
invocations. Zorah has taken the Book of Ancient Secrets, Agonizing Blast, Eldritch Mind, Grasp of Hadar, and Armor of Shadows.
pact boon. Pact of the Tome enables Zorah to have access to even more spells and invocations. She is always carrying this grimoire around with her, strapped to her belt in a protective leather case. She's violently protective of it, and anyone who tries to touch or take it from her often finds themselves missing fingers.

history.     Zorah was abandoned shortly after she was born. She doesn't know the name she was given at birth. According to Therald, the priest who raised her, she was found at the temple's door, swaddled in an old woollen blanket on a rainy early-fall night. She was taken in without question. All of the priests and clerics within Daggerford's small temple to Chauntea chipped in to help her grow. They did not give in to the superstitions many carried about her kind. They knew that all it took was the right nurturing to get her on the right path. After all, she was born human, wasn't she? How very different could she be, simply because her appearance had changed? As their goddess would want, the temple became a home - for wanderers, vagabonds, and in this case a dumped baby.Zorah was an excellent child. She excelled in almost anything she did. One of her favorite activities as a young girl was to play kick ball. They had a "house rule" that there would be no headbutting, because they'd already had to replace a few balls and it was beginning to be expensive. Otherwise, she did her chores with some encouragement, and always enjoyed listening to stories. Although she wasn't much of a reader - or a scholar - she did enjoy finding new information through talking to people, and learning about the world. Her method of choice was always hands on.As she entered her teen years, Zorah began helping more and more on the religious side of things. She learned all of Chauntea's teachings and helped the priests and clerics with their duties as she could. In fact, Therald's plan was to offer her a position within the temple as a priest or cleric (her choice). He had all of the preparations made, but he could have never anticipated what would start to happen as she neared adulthood.Seemingly out of nowhere, around the age of 17, Chauntea's soothing voice faded out of Zorah's mind. No matter how hard she prayed she could no longer relocate the connection she once had to the goddess. Her faith faltered. The night she intended to confide with Therald, a new voice responded when she prayed. It was deep, a bit unsettling, but also... oddly familiar. Like a distant family member you had not visited since you were a baby. He offered her reassurances, called himself Grandfather, and comforted Zorah with stories of her childhood. After all, he had always been there, waiting for the day she would finally reach out for him. He became a huge part of her life. She prayed more fervently than before, eager to feel what she knew to be familial love. Grandfather promised her that he'd one day tell her about her real parents, and share her True Name, and more.It took him over a year, but he managed to begin re-shaping all of the values and principles Zorah held by Therald's teachings. Slowly she began to shift her focus: she began to hunger for more influence, for wealth, for control and power. After all, with those things, she could help everyone she loved accomplish anything they desired. She grew restless. Therald interpreted this as her coming to age, and realized that she might want to travel before settling. He offered her everything he had: some funds, supplies, and a map. He hugged her and kissed her cheeks and told her he loved her, and that he and the temple would always be there for her return. He urged her not to stay gone for too terribly long. They'd miss her.Zorah accepted, spurred on by Grandfather's urgings. Then she set off with little fanfare. She was gone for over a week before she realized her wreckless spending had left her with only a few day's worth of gold. She couldn't afford a room anymore, and she needed to save the gold to get back to the temple. Zorah located a carriage service, and slept in a nearby alley while she waited. Unfortunately, in a city like Waterdeep, there was no avoiding tragedy. A group of thuggish people came down the alleyway: urchins. They stole her shoes, her cloak, her gold, her rations, and everything. They left her with nothing except the clothes on her back. She was shaken. Distraught. They'd hurt her - beat her against the stone wall of the building she had huddled against. She was bruised, sore, and filled with tearful rage. Grandfather was there to help ease her anger. "It's okay, dear one, I can help you," his low, snakelike tones whispered into her ear. "I can give you the strength to take back what they've stolen. Do you want back what they've thiefed away?"Of course she accepted. Of course she took back everything. Of course none of them walked away but her.She was broken. Something within her that night snapped. She was no longer the sweet little horned girl that liked playing kickball behind the temple. Now she was a rage-filled, wounded animal prepared to do whatever it took to take what she wanted.

main verse. The Forgotten Realms. In her main verse, Zorah is a traveller, seeking lost artefacts, treasures, and anything that might bring her closer to wealth and power. Grandfather guides her through his demands. He tells her what she must do, what to find, and then it is her responsibility to succeed. She can be found almost anywhere in Faerûn, and especially along the Sword Coast. The timeline for this occurs during the events of BG3, but Zorah is not usually directly involved with anything.tav verse. Baldur's Gate III. If Zorah is taken by the mindflayers and infected with the tadpole, she is a mixture of pissed off and excited. Pissed off, because dealing with a whole team && trying to continue doing what she needs to for her pact is exhausting. The excitement comes once she realizes the potential of the tadpole. The additional power it gives her is a thrill; any extra strength she gets is a gift, to her. She can be found rummaging in the rubble of the cashed nautiloid with a few intellect devourers dead in a circle around her, their frontal lobes charred.oblivion verse. The Elder Scrolls. Within this verse, Zorah is a devout worshipper of Mehrunes Dagon. He is the source of much of her power, helping her channel the energies of aetherius through herself. This manipulation of the planes and her influence by him has led to her appearance being warped into one similar to a daedra. She was a hand in his summoning during the Oblivion Crisis.skyrim verse. The Elder Scrolls. Similar to her Oblivion verse, though she is instead a worshipper of Dagon long after the crisis. The same things have taken place in regards to her appearance, though instead she wanders around Skyrim with the hope of finding artefacts and tomes that might help her bring about a second Crisis.desire verse. Dragon Age. Within Dragon Age, Zorah is known as Zoreisheth, a desire demon. This verse is very flexible in regards to time frame. During Origins, she may be found within the mage's tower, prowling corridors hoping to take advantage of a vulnerable human to allow her access to the world. This general premise may be translated through the series.demon verse. Divinity: Original Sin. This verse takes place during the events of the second game. Zorah is once again Zoreisheth, and hopes again to take advantage of a vulnerable sourcerer.goddess verse. Godbound. As godbound, the setting remains the same as the system's original lore. Within this setting, Zorah was an ambitious human. She had heard tales of the old Made Gods and craved that power for herself. She sought after artefacts, shards of heaven, and anything that could help her achieve the greatness she felt she was destined for. It was this very tenacity that attracted the holyfire which she was imbued with. As a godbound, Zorah commands her people, hungry for a world her own. Words: Fire, Luck, and Command.
